Victory Brewing
Downingtown, Chester County, PA
Victory Brewing opened in February 1996 in a former Pepperidge Farm bakery in Downingtown, founded by childhood friends Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski. It grew into a major regional craft brewer with flagships including Prima Pils, Golden Monkey, HopDevil, and DirtWolf, reaching roughly 125,000 barrels a year by 2014. In 2016 Victory merged with New York's Southern Tier Brewing under Artisanal Brewing Ventures, a private-equity-backed holding company, with its founders continuing to lead Victory.
