Silicon Power Corporation designs, tests, and manufactures high-power semiconductor devices, pulsed-power modules, and utility-scale power systems from Malvern. The operation traces its lineage to a General Electric high-power semiconductor facility, with present ownership taking over from GE in 1994. Its products serve energy, utility, and pulsed-power applications requiring high-voltage, high-current switching. It remains a niche, technically specialized power-electronics developer.
