Pharmaron Exton

Pharmaron's Exton site is a contract research organization founded in 1996 as Absorption Systems, a specialist in non-clinical drug testing. Its core expertise is in DMPK and bioanalysis for small and large molecules, with distinctive capabilities in drug transporters, human PK prediction, ophthalmology, medical-device testing, and cell and gene therapy evaluation. Pharmaron, a large China-based global CRO, acquired Absorption Systems for up to $137.5 million in 2020, and the Exton lab now serves as its U.S. lab-services hub.
