ifm efector

ifm efector is the U.S. headquarters of German industrial-automation group ifm, founded in Germany in 1969 and established in Chester County in 1985. It manufactures and markets position, flow, level, vision, and diagnostic sensors for automotive, robotics, material handling, and food-and-beverage industries. The Malvern operation has grown to roughly 330 employees serving about 23,000 customers, and it opened a local manufacturing and technology center and a nearby Downingtown distribution facility to expand capacity.
